Improved Efficiency – Edge cables provide significantly greater efficiency due to our low-friction materials and construction. Minimal Backlash – Edge cables are built with the optimum gap between inner core and conduit, resulting in significantly less backlash. Low Friction Wiper Seal – EMP wiper seals are made from a polyurethane and impregnated with lifetime lubricant to minimize friction and extend service life. Cable Bend Radius – Edge cables have a minimum bend radius of 4 inches. However, we recommend keeping the bend radius as large as possible and the degree of bend to a minimum for optimal performance. Low friction wiper seal and the above features translates into improved efficiency with reduced operator effort when Edge cables are used.
