Description

This kit is a standard size Carbo-Cam^® cleat with a Fast Release Fairlead from Harken^®. Carbo-Cam cleats are lightweight, fiber-reinforced cam cleats that include ball bearings and are used where weight is critical or adjustments are less frequent. Fast Release Fairleads are made from a tough, abrasion-resistant composite and allow for a quick flick of the line to rapidly release it with more consistent cleat disengaging. Featuring low-friction, angled stainless steel line guides on the exit side of the cleat, these fairleads keep the line away from the cam to eliminate unexpected re-cleats during maneuvers. Use for fast spinnaker take-downs or anywhere fast release is crucial.
