Description

The Mercury Condenser is a replacement for Chrysler/Force, US. Marine Outboard #F12042-1, and Mercury/Mariner Outboard #394-1130A1. It is the same as a high voltage capacitor used in other types of electrical circuits. The condenser function is to set a contact to release the charge to the spark plug. If the engine is difficult to start and roughly runs once it does start, there is a condenser malfunction.
