O Rings have good tensile and torsional strength, can work at high strength without breaking, and can withstand temperatures of -40 (-40degrees C) to +248 (+120degrees C). There are 18 other sizes of black O Rings available, ranging from small to large, but the set of 5 will serve. O rings are used to block a passage via which a liquid or gas could escape. The O-ring is put into a groove and compressed between two surfaces to keep it secure.
