Description

The trim sender switch sends a signal to the Trim Gauge to check the drive’s level. The Trim Limit Switch is a safety feature that prevents the driver from over-trimming.

The trim limit (TL) switches positions on the gimbal housing’s left side. This switch allows just a limited amount of outward trim motion to offer safe control at high speeds and prevent drive unit or trim cylinder damage owing to lost drive unit side support. Brown or white wire runs up the dash and connects to the Trim Gauge’s Sender Terminal on the backside.
