SeaStar’s Premium Xtreme 479-Type Control Cables are an OEM direct-replacement type control cable for OMC/Johnson/Evinrude engines (1979-present) with BRP/OMC controls. They use the existing connection components. Each cable includes stainless steel and brass fittings. Premium cables have a heavy jacket and the Xtreme splined, coated core element for maximum smoothness and minimal lost motion. HDPE casing adds durability and provides great resistance to UV, saltwater, chemicals, gasoline, and oil. 4″ minimum bend radius.
