Sierra’s 18-5741 Voltage Regulator is designed for use with Mercury engines with 16 or 40 Amp charging systems (1981-1991). It is interchangeable with CDI 194-5279, and Mercury Marine 12082A1, 12082A7, 12082A8, 815279-1, 815279A2. Each Sierra product meets or exceeds the original equipment part it replaces.
