Sierra’s 18-5888 Shift Assist Module Kit fits 5.0 and 5.7 GM engines (1986-1990), and 7.5 460 Ford (1987-1991). Designed for use with V-8 sterndrives. It is interchangeable with CDI 123-9898-P, Mallory 9-24500, and OMC Stern Drive 987738. Each Sierra product meets or exceeds the original equipment part it replaces.
