Sierra’s 18-7886 Diesel Oil Filter is furnished with an anti-drain-back valve. The valve eliminates dry starts and prevents oil from draining back into the crankcase during engine shutdown. Engineered with premium grade materials that will excel in the extreme marine environment. Designed with an epoxy coat for corrosion resistance and a heavy-wall steel canister for further corrosion protection. The high-efficiency filter media meets or exceeds the OE’s filtration.
